SunRay Earrings
Two Australian natural parti sapphires, each with their unique green and gold glow and 1.39cts & .93cts. Measuring 9mm wide. Rub over set in polished 18ct yellow Single Mine Origin gold with a long hook back. A length of handcrafted 18ct SMO gold chainmail dangles from the top gemstones. A total length of 40mm. Two antique diamonds, rub over set in gold, are suspended randomly on each.
Designed in response to the wonderful Sun Rays that appear through the brooding clouds over Dartmoor. Shafts of light spray out over the vast landscape highlighting areas of greens and yellows. The diamonds hint at the sparkling early morning dew drops that appear of foliage; the movement an echo of the wild grasses in the breeze. An elegant length these earrings make for great evening attire and special events.
